They’re Moving To The Triangle!

Forbes recently published an interactive map with information from the IRS showing where folks are moving to and from… The BLACK lines are indicating folks moving TO our area… the Red are folks moving away.

So the map above is showing Wake County, which is where Raleigh, Cary, Wake Forest, Holly Springs are located… The map below represents Johnston County – which is where Clayton is (and part of Garner).

This last map shows Durham County. Durham (home of the Duke Blue Devils), Chapel Hill (Home of the UNC Chapel Hill Tarheels) and Raleigh (home of NCSU Wolfpack) are all about 30 minutes from each other! Raleigh/Cary was just named the Best Places for Families by Parenting Magazine.

All of this is very interesting… especially when you compare the numbers coming INTO the Triangle (Wake, Durham, Orange, Johnston and Franklin Counties) and the folks who are LEAVING other areas… like Los Angeles.
